CASEWARE WORKING PAPERS TUTORIAL 1
The “CaseWare Working Papers Tutorial 1” is an interactive course for audit and assurance personnel building on the information obtained in the foundational course “Introduction to CaseWare”.
This course is an introduction to CaseWare Working Papers, a working paper and audit documentation software commonly used in audit engagements. The tutorial is designed to provide a practical, step-by-step overview of how CaseWare is used throughout an engagement.
The goal of this presentation is to assist in understanding not only how to perform tasks in CaseWare, but also why each step is important in the overall audit or engagement process. It spans from setting up a client file to importing and mapping the trial balance, organizing documents, to making adjusting and reclassification entries.
Key Learning Objectives
By the end of this training, participants will be able to:
- Create first time CaseWare file for a client: selecting the correct template, naming conventions, and folder structure.
